DTG Printing…still king in 2025?

I know DTF is all of the rage right now, I mean why not? It’s seemingly easy to apply, you can press it on any garment and it has bright and vibrant colors! So why in the world am I making the bold claim that DTG printing is the king?!

Well, to put it bluntly, I love..LOVE the feel of a DTG, 100% wring spun cotton printed shirt. DTG prints in my opinion just feel better. Depending on which DTF print you get, they can often feel like a sticker is applied atop the garment rather than a PART of the garment.

So is screen printing dead? Nope. It much like DTF has its place in the garment world. It is our responsibility to the customer to help them make the right choices. Single color graphic, 100 or more shirts? Screen printing hands down! Need 25 shirts, want a soft style 100% cotton t? DTG all the way! Work outside, multicolor graphic on a drifit shirt? DTF is going to be your best bet.
